Well, I certainly never saw myself painting baby-bump-bellies.....but I am SOOOOOOO happy to be given the opportunity....and I would be honored if it led to more pregnant belly painting!
THIS. WAS. FUN!!!!
This first belly-finish is my favorite!!! It reminds me of a Faberge egg!
I added the fancy furniture/craft molds made by Wood U Bend (top mold & bottom mold). These amazing molds are brand new to the USA....and offer mind-blowing qualities. They really need a blog of their own so I can go into full detail about how amazing they are and why you should try them. But for now, we focus on belly-bump-art!
I used Moonshine Metallic Paints by Dixie Belle in Pacific and Gold Digger....as well as shadows done with Plum Crazy.
Sara was so patient with me as I painted. She sat still....and held those molds carefully in place while I created this finish. Baby Wyatt....on the other hand....was NOT so still! LOL!
Speaking of baby Wyatt.....are you familiar with a "rainbow baby"??
Well, Wyatt is a "rainbow baby"......bringing both joy, happiness AND healing to his momma...after she suffered a tragic loss of baby Troy before him.
She specifically asked for the rainbow design here as well as this beautiful saying "hand picked for earth by my sibling in heaven". Obviously...THIS is her favorite "belly-finish"!!
And last but NOT least.....she asked for The Lion King belly!!!
Both her and her hubs are huge fans of the movie.....so Mufassa and Simba paws happened!
And that made for a very happy momma!!!
