I am not sure how I have gone THIS long without writing about LEOPARD print!?!?!?!?
I've been painting leopard AND zebra prints on furniture for as far back as I can remember!
I realize that leopard print is not loved by everyone.....but I SUPER LOVE it....and I see it as a neutral!
WHAT???
Yep.....a neutral....just like my "go-to" black and white stripes......neutrals!
In my opinion....leopard can be used in any room in the house....AND can be seen as both feminine and masculine.
I prefer to use it in small doses.....with either a rug and pillow combo....maybe trim on your drapes along with a piece of furniture.....

My hand painted leopard prints have evolved over the years.....from a once much smaller print on rustic backgrounds such as this table pedestal.....

......to a more jumbo and dramatic leopard print as the one seen here as an accent on the base of this dresser.
I now love mixing unexpected elements such as a grungy textured gator hide....with metallic gold....and blinged-out leopard.....all on one piece of furniture!

My favorite leopard print EVER is the "gold on gold" as you see below!
This pop art dresser....with its black and white sunburst.....peacock feathers and metallic gold leopard skirt is a power house!!
Who would have ever thought that mixing this many elements....and colors....and patterns.....would work??
But it does!!!
You just have to know how to lay out your design....and go for it!
