Transfer paper is like magic for artist! It allows you to instantly transfer an image to any surface using erasable graphite.
This is handy for all artists for many reasons but is especially helpful to those less confident in their drawing skills!
I recommend using transfer paper with my printable patterns for painting. It will allow you to easily transfer my drawing to your surface so you can then paint it!
Preferred Graphite Paper Supplies
Transfer paper can be purchased in pre-cut sheet or a roll.
I prefer the precut graphite paper sheets for smaller print outs and the graphite paper roll for larger printouts.
I also recommend erasable, wax free, non-smudging (which is fairly standard)

How to Use Graphite Transfer Paper
STEP 1: Print your pattern and choose the transfer paper that best fits your print out....or cut a piece to size.
STEP 2: Tape your transfer paper (graphite side down) to your surface of choice (furniture, denim, canvas, wall, etc).
STEP 3: Tape your printed image on top of the graphite paper....with your image facing up.
STEP 4: Begin tracing your image.
PRO TIP #1: I recommend a dull pencil as a sharp point may poke through your printed image.
PRO TIP #2: I also suggest lifting a corner of the paper after just a few tracing strokes to make sure your image is transferring well.
Continue to trace the entire image until complete.
STEP 5: Remove the papers and paint your image!
PRO TIP #3: You can reuse graphite paper several times before the graphite wears out, so make sure to save your sheets
