Have you ever seen the crazy amazing book fold art? I was mind blown when I went looking for inspiration!
My only book folding was magazine Christmas trees and even a telephone book fold once back in my Girl Scout days!
I decided to try my hand at a floral arrangement book fold with my membership group, Curiously Creative. I chose a really simple fold and just jumped in with both feet!

How satisfying it was ripping the pages!
Let me just tell you that the ripping of the pages was extremely satisfying which I find really odd as I thought it would bother me to deconstruct book pages.
Instead, I found myself daydreaming about all things I could create with the torn out pages.
So if you try these....save the torn pages.....who knows what we might end up doing with them.
The book itself is one I found at the thrift store for just a couple of bucks. I looked for one with 300-400 pages and a decent height to it. I also wanted a black book....which this one had under its red protective book cover.
Folding the Book Fold Art Pages
I won't go into the folding pattern here...but I do encourage you to check out book fold art on Pinterest....you'll be amazed
Adding the Floral Arrangement...and the Bling!
Once my fold was complete I began the build out of the flower arrangement.
I chose fall colored.....deep moody florals.
I added amber feathers and bright green moss to the mix. This really amped up the texture variety as well as added to the feel of nature.
And my favorite additions???
The #grandmacore touches of chandelier crystals and vintage doily cuttings.
In my opinion.....everything is better with a touch of grandma!!! (these crystals are from Matts grandmothers chandelier)
The Finished Look: Floral Book Fold Art
I think this book fold is absolutely yummy!!!
It evokes memories of days gone by.
Days of quiet book nooks, crochet baskets overflowing with yarn and sparkling chandeliers over tables where family gathered.
We made a second one in much brighter colors....more of a fairy garden vibe with butterflies and such. I just didn't get photos of it.
I really do hope you feel inspired to search for other versions of this and give it a try!
It was a really enjoyable project!
