My Recipes

I’m sharing all of my recipes here!!!

My Go-to Smoothies

I make these in my Ninja blender

**It is so important to not overload your smoothies with fruit…..always add at least a cup of spinach or kale to offset the sugars in the fruit to avoid blood sugar spikes. If you overload the blender with food, this could also cause some issues! My blender is amazing and it makes delicious smoothies. I would definitely recommend getting a Ninja blender and if you want to compare Ninja models, check out a website like kitchenhabit.com.

Smoothies are typically considered a healthier alternative to sugary drinks and sodas. Studies consistently show that consuming too many drinks with high sugar content can increase the risk of dental cavities. However, smoothies can contain very high levels of sugar and acid and so without good dental hygiene, they can also do a lot of damage to your teeth.

Each time you drink a fruit smoothie your teeth are exposed to acid, so constantly sipping on these drinks can cause the protective enamel to erode. Over time, this can cause pain and sensitivity and can also lead to tooth decay. If you experience any of these oral health issues, it is in your best interest to contact a Dentist in San Ramon or a dentist in your area for help and support.

Ultimately, dentists advise the best policy is to brush your teeth before drinking fruit juice, as this helps protect against the damaging impact of the acid contained in a smoothie.
