Kids all over the country have chosen their college destinations and are excitedly making those announcements to friends and family.
And I know for a fact that many moms are readying their wardrobe to proudly show off their new college bound kiddo! I know this because I have many request for these custom DIY college apparel items as well as request for guidance in how to create their own!

Custom DIY College Apparel Ideas
Let's begin with some of my favorite custom DIY college apparel projects! I hope you will find inspiration in create your own!
TEXAS TECH Custom DIY College Jackets
My personal favorites so far are the Texas Tech jackets that I made for myself and both of my daughters!
Each of us chose our favorite logo.
Zadie chose the Double T with "wreck em"
Hailey also asked for the same but we embellished with a cheer bow and the word CHEER since she spent four years cheering for Tech on their co-ed team!
I went with Raider Red because he's my absolute favorite mascot of all schools!
We had the best time wearing out jackets to one of the football games last season!
BAYLOR Custom DIY College Jacket
A family friend of ours requested the Baylor denim jacket in support of her daughter!
I will admit that this bear is pretty cute!
It's like he's trying to look angry...but just can't get there.
When you create your denim jacket don't forget you can embellish the front and the arms of the jackets as well.

HOUSE DIVIDED Custom DIY College Jacket
We've all known families that had a house divided situation!
This custom DIY college jacket was a lot of fun.....trying to balance the Raider and the Bear to share space on the back!

Let's not forget about painted shoes to show some school spirit!
I recently painted these super simple splatter paint and University of Georgia logo!
This project is so fun and so easy....anyone could do it!
