A mid-century mod dresser that any mermaid would love!
A photo-heavy blog post with very few words.
BEFORE & AFTER
A simple application . No sanding. No primer.
Three ocean inspired colors by Vintiques Paint by Heirloom Traditions.
Drawer #1 painted with Toile.
Drawer #2 painted with Tiffany (my absolute favorite).
Drawer #3 (and the body of the dresser) painted with Sail Away (so appropriately named for this Mermaid theme).
The gradient/ombre variation is subtle but shows nicely in this photograph.
The drawer pulls were painted with Liquid Leaf.
Look at the reflection that the Liquid Leaf offers…..like the sun on the ocean.
I finished the teal dresser with a coat of Heirloom Traditions Clear Liquid Spray Wax.
This transformation of this teal dresser was soooooo simple!
I applied two coats of each color of Vintiques Paint to the teal dresser. I sanded lightly between coats with a fine grit sand paper. I applied one coat of the liquid leaf to the drawer pulls. I then used the Heirloom Traditions clear spray wax as the protective final coat. And that was it folks!!
So for all of you that have a little mermaid in your life…or maybe YOU are the mermaid…and these colors are calling your name…..I have included a list below that is linked to the Heirloom Traditions website for fast and easy shopping with delivery straight to your door.
A great big mermaid hug to the Heirloom Traditions Paint Family for providing the products used for this super~gorgeous~super~easy transformation!
Happy Painting my friends!
